The Centre for Global Mental Health (CGMH), launched on October 9th 2009, is a collaboration between the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and King’s Health Partners (incorporating King’s College London), including the Institute of Psychiatry and three of London’s most successful NHS Foundation Trusts). It aims to build on the existing collaborations and complementary strengths of these two institutions to foster research and training in policy, prevention, treatment and care.

The Centre is jointly led by Professors Vikram Patel and Martin Prince and comprises academic staff and PhD students from both institutions.

On this website, you can find out about the CGMH's projectspublications and teaching and training programs, as well as the people involved in the Centre's work and our student forum. We also provide links to past and current CGMH news and events, and some useful CGMH and general GMH resources. In addition, we include details on how you can join the Centre.
