SeraphimGLOBAL has a long history in primary care delivery and strengthening health systems in rural areas, hard-to-reach locations and among marginalized populations. Maternal and child health are the foundations of our community health projects. We work within a holistic community-based approach to support social development and public health initiatives.
Human Trafficking and Exploitation
Human trafficking has become the second largest criminal industry.
There are as many as 27 million victims of human trafficking in the
world today, more than a million of these victims are children.
The issue of human trafficking and child exploitation, has become an increasingly important focus of our work. While rescuing victims is the first step in helping them to return to a functional and productive life, this traumatized population requires reinforced mental health support.
Seraphim has designed a program, SERVE, that addresses the effects of human trafficking, violence and exploitation.
SeraphimGLOBAL creates new possibilities for health. We consider environmental factors, nutritional support, community education and training among the many critical aspects of integrated care and treatment interventions. We connect communities with local support, such as clinics, dispensaries and health care workers to form an integrated network of care and support for entire areas.
These areas include:
- Anti Human Trafficking
- Youth at risk
- Mental Health Services
- Infectious Communicable Disease Control
- Training Service Providers and Community Health Workers
- Basic Education
- Maternal and Child Health
- Health Systems Strengthening
